The ROLi Pack fixes that. Then it disappears.
It weighs around 150 grams and folds down into its own inside zip pocket, small enough to live in the glovebox or a door pocket until you need it. Unzip it, shake it out, and you've got a full-size day pack.
The body is lightweight ripstop nylon with a water-resistant finish, so a splash at the boat ramp or a passing shower isn't a drama. The zips are reverse-coil nylon with metal pulls, built to keep running smoothly trip after trip.
The shoulder straps are breathable mesh, so it stays comfortable on a long walk in from the car or a few hours on the trail. Two side pockets hold a drink bottle or an umbrella, and the front webbing loop gives you somewhere to clip a hat, keys or a carabiner.
Leave one in the car. It'll be there for every day out after that.

How small does it fold?
It packs down into its own internal zip pocket, roughly the size of a small pouch. Easy to keep in the glovebox, a door pocket or another bag.
Is it waterproof?
It's water-resistant, not fully waterproof. Splashes and light rain are fine. In heavy, sustained rain or if it's dropped in water, the contents can get wet, so keep phones and electronics in a dry bag if you're expecting a downpour.
Will it carry a full day's gear?
Yes. It's a full-size day pack once unfolded. Towels, a jumper, snacks, sunscreen and a drink bottle in the side pocket all fit without a fight.
What if something goes wrong?
1 year warranty. Australian owned and operated, real support if something goes wrong.
