The whole crew's at the beach. Someone wants a cold beer. Someone else wants an icy pole. The ice box is two hundred metres back at the car, and everything in it is swimming.

The ROLi Weekender sorts that out.

It's got wheels and a pull-out handle, so you roll it across the sand or the grass to wherever the group's sitting. No carrying. No two-person lift. Just roll it over and open it up.

Then there's the dual zone. Two compartments, two separate temperatures, each set anywhere from -20°C to +10°C. Food one side, beers the other. Or fridge one side, freezer the other — ice cream stays frozen, drinks stay cold, and nobody has to choose.

At 45 litres there's room for proper food for a big family or a group of mates, plus the drinks to go with it. It comes with two ROLi Batteries — 31.2Ah all up — so it keeps running long after you've switched the car off. Plug it into your car's 12V or 24V socket on the drive and the batteries charge on the way. No dual battery setup, no installation, no sparky.

Heading away for the weekend? Plug it into 240V at a cabin, Airbnb or powered site and it recharges overnight. Going off-grid? Hook up a solar panel and keep topping up the batteries through the day.

Dual zone fridges with this kind of capacity typically retail well above $1,500 — without batteries. The Weekender comes with two. Do the maths.

It's a big day out fridge first. A weekend away is just a bonus.

Frequently Asked Questions +

Is it heavy?
It's 18kg — but you don't carry it. It's got wheels and a pull-out handle, so you roll it from the car to wherever you're set up.

Do I actually need dual zone?
If you've ever had to choose between keeping the ice cream frozen and keeping the lettuce from freezing — yes. Each side has its own temperature. Run one as a fridge and one as a freezer, or run both as fridges and keep the food and drinks separate. You can also switch one zone off when you don't need it.

How do the two batteries work?
Both batteries sit in the fridge at once. On battery power it runs off one, then moves to the other. When you're plugged into AC or your car, it charges them too. Each battery also pops out and charges on its own via USB-C.

How long will the batteries last?
With two batteries — 31.2Ah all up — the Weekender is built to get you through a weekend away. How long you actually get comes down to two things: how hot it is outside and how often the lid's opened. A mild day with the lid mostly shut goes a lot further than a 40-degree arvo with the kids in and out every five minutes. Run it in ECO mode, keep it in the shade, and pre-cool it at home on 240V before you leave to stretch it further. Topping up with solar or a drive in the car buys you more time again.

Do I need a dual battery setup in my car?
No. The Weekender plugs straight into your standard 12V or 24V socket and charges the batteries while you drive. Set the battery protection to High when running off the car and it'll switch off before it drains your car battery.

Can I run it on solar?
Yes. With at least one battery installed, plug a regulated solar panel (up to 30V, 100–120W recommended) into the fridge's solar port.

Will it fit in my car?
It's 69.0cm wide, 44.6cm deep and 51.4cm high. That suits most larger SUV and wagon boots and ute trays. Leave about 20cm around the vents so it can breathe.

What if something goes wrong?
1 year warranty on the fridge and both batteries. Australian owned and operated, real support if something goes wrong.

How fast does it ship?
Free shipping Australia-wide. Ships from Pakenham, Melbourne — 3-15 days depending on location.

Can I return it if it's not right for me?
Yes. 30 days from purchase, full refund. Item needs to be in resalable condition with all accessories included — we cover return shipping by road.
