No. The ROLi Mini runs straight off your standard 12V or 24V socket while you drive — and charges the built-in battery at the same time. On 240V at home, it charges the fridge and battery simultaneously too. No dual battery, no installation.

Anything I need to do before first use?
Two things. Stand the fridge upright for 6 hours before switching it on. And activate the ROLi Battery by charging it once with a USB-C PD charger (45–60W). Until you do, the fridge can't charge it.

Will it fit in my ute?
It's 37.5cm wide, 26.2cm deep and 43.5cm high, so it fits behind the seat or on the passenger floor of most dual cabs, or anywhere in the tray.
