Every ROLi fridge ships with one of these built in — and it's removable, swappable, and rechargeable on its own. A 15.6Ah lithium pack that runs your fridge for a full day off-grid, then tops back up over USB-C in about 4 hours.
No proprietary charger, no waiting around. Plug it into any 60W USB-C PD charger — the kind you already use for your laptop — and it fast charges on its own. Need to top up a phone instead? The USB-A output handles that too.
Built with genuine protection circuitry against overcharge, over-discharge, short circuits, and overcurrent, and independently tested to UN38.3 and IEC 62133-2 standards.
A spare means you swap a flat one for a full one and keep going. One in the fridge, one charging in the car or at home.

Which fridges does it fit?
Every ROLi fridge. The Mini and Roam take one, and the Weekender takes two.
Do I need to do anything before first use?
Yes. Activate it by charging it once with a USB-C PD charger (45–60W). Until you do, the fridge can't charge it. After that, charge it however you like.
How long will it run my fridge?
Up to 24 hours off-grid in real-world testing with the Mini and Roam. Hot weather and a lid that's opened a lot will cut that down. Keep the fridge in the shade and pre-cool it before you leave to get the most out of it.
How do I charge it?
Three ways. In the fridge on car or 240V power, about 6–8 hours. With a 60W USB-C PD charger, about 4 hours. Or in the fridge from a ROLi Solar panel, depending on the sun. Never use a charger over 60W.
Should I leave it in the fridge on car or 240V power?
Not once it's full. It keeps cycling between charging and discharging, which wears it faster. Take it out when it's charged and you're not running off it.
Can I take it on a plane?
No. At 170.82Wh it's over the 160Wh limit airlines allow for passengers. Pack it for road trips, not flights.
What if something goes wrong?
1 year warranty. If the battery develops a fault, don't send it back. Get in touch and we'll send a replacement.
How fast does it ship?
Free shipping Australia-wide. Ships from Pakenham, Melbourne — 3-15 days depending on location.
Can I return it if it's not right for me?
Yes. 30 days from purchase, full refund. Item needs to be in resalable condition with all accessories included — we cover return shipping by road.
