Will it work with my ROLi fridge?
Yes. It's sized for the ROLi range and comes with a dedicated 4m lead that plugs straight into the fridge's solar port. The 18V DC output suits the fridge's solar input, and 100W sits right in the recommended range for charging the ROLi Battery.

Why a 4-metre lead?
So the panel can sit in full sun while the fridge stays in the shade. A fridge in the shade works less hard, and a panel in the sun charges more. You get both.

Do I need a battery in the fridge to use solar?
Yes. The ROLi Battery needs to be installed in the fridge before you connect the panel. The fridge then charges the battery from the sun. Never connect the panel straight to the battery.

Can it run the fridge with no battery at all?
No. Solar charges the battery, and the battery runs the fridge. Think of the panel as the thing that keeps your battery topped up through the day.

How much charge will I get?
It depends on the sun. Full, direct sunlight with the panel angled at the sun gives the most. Cloud, shade and a low sun all cut output. Move it as the shade moves and you'll get the most out of it.

Can I charge my phone off it?
Yes. Plug straight into the USB-C or either of the two USB ports on the panel.

Run the included lead into the fridge's solar port. The panel stays in the sun, the fridge stays in the shade.
